Our name and logo, Ceres, are something of a manifesto for us.

Indeed, our name and logo are inspired by Ceres, the Roman mythological goddess of harvest, of the growth of food plants, grain crops and fertility. Ceres had the power of fertility and could cause pregnancy in women or crops to grow in the land at will. 

​

We believe that it is our role at Ceres to put our experience and networks at the service of management to help plant seeds, water them, cultivate the crop and protect it from external aggressions (frost, drought, diseases, …), give it enough time to grow before a fruitful harvest can be reaped.

Thus, the Ceres name relates to our convictions that our main role lies in helping our management teams to cultivate and grow their companies so that they produce fruit for all stakeholders, including employees.

As former managers, we have weathered low cycles and black swans, hence we believe we are well equipped to help management when times get harder with a down-to-earth pragmatic approach.
