Created in 2004, CERES INDUSTRIES CAPITAL (“CERES”) is a sector focused evergreen investment firm managed by former CEOs. So far, our team has invested in more than 40 companies in 8 countries.

CERES invests, together with its co-investors, €25m to €150m+ equity per transaction.

In the past 6 years, CERES has invested a total of €350m in LBOs in France.

CERES’ has developed a differentiated an entrepreneurial approach to Private Equity investment:

 

• PATIENT CAPITAL : CERES is an evergreen investment holding, thereby avoiding to put undue timing constraints onto our management teams, and also able to reinject equity along the road to finance transformative build ups (no limited (re)investment period).
   

• OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE / VALUE-ADDED CAPITAL : CERES‘ team is comprised of former CEOs with management experience in various sectors. In addition, CERES has build a close partnership with an agile Executive Search firm to complete the management teams of our investee companies (e.g. MBI).
   

• ENTREPRENEURIAL CAPITAL : All CERES partners, as well as many of our historical Family Offices co-investors, have built and led companies with some great successes… and some failures i.e. lessons learned.   
   

• RESPONSIBLE CAPITAL : CERES encourages our companies to adhere to the highest standards of business conduct and to have a positive impact on the communities they serve.
